Norway-based Inrigo was backed by Export Credit Norway and GIEK

Innovation Norway, Export Credit Norway and GIEK supported Inrigo in closing a deal for a drinking water facility in Cameroon. The supply of four complete drinking water facilities to the state-owned company Camwater in Cameroon is one of the largest Norwegian export contracts to an African country, excluding the oil industry, in recent years.

In January, Export Credit Norway issued a loan to the buyer backed by a guarantee from GIEK of EUR 57.5 million, while Innovation Norway issued a EUR 10 million loan to Inrigo.

-Without the financial support and risk sharing by Export Credit Norway, GIEK and Innovation Norway, we would not be able to land this contract, CEO Reza Hezari in Inrigo said when the financing was made public in January.
