Elisabeth Grieg, Chaiman of the Board

The CEO of Grieg International AS, Elisabeth Grieg, holds university degrees from BI and the University of San Francisco. She is on the board of several parts of the familiy-owned corporation Grieg Gruppen. Among other things Elisabeth Grieg also was a board member, Vice president and President of the Norwegian Shipowners' Association, and a member of the boards of Statoil, Norsk Hydro and Orkla. Chairman of GIEK's Board since 1st February 2011.

John Giverholt

CFO with Ferd AS. He holds a Master degree in Business and Economics and a degree in accountancy from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. Previously, Mr Giverholt was in the management of Orkla, Den norske Bank and Norsk Hydro. He is on the board of Kongsberg Gruppen and Telenor. Member of GIEK's Board since 1st February 2011.

Torfinn Kildal

Holds a Master degree in Business and Economics from the Norwegian School of Economics and Business Administration. He was CEO of Kongsberg Maritime for several years. Mr Kildal was part of the management of Kongsberg Gruppen before leaving in 2010, and he is experienced in managing and governing offshore and maritime supply companies in Norway and internationally. Member of the strategic board of MARUT (maritime development) since its establishment in 2004 until 2010. Member of GIEK's Board since 1st February 2011.

Christine Rødsæther

Partner of Vogt & Wiig law firm, specialist in shipping and finance. Cand. Jur. (law) degree fom the University of Bergen and Master of Law (LLM) within Transnational Business Practice, from Mc George School of Law, University of the Pacific, California. Member of GIEK's Board since 6th September 2007.

Hans Petter Aas

MBA in Business Administration from the Norwegian School of Business Administration. Established HPAConsult AS in 2008. Before that, he held various managerial positions at DnB NOR Bank for almost 20 years. Among other things, he was Executive Vice President and Head of Global Shipping, Offshore and Logistics. He has also been in the management of companies such as Nevi AS, Vesta and Statoil. Member of GIEK's board since 1st August 2009.

Mai-Lill Ibsen

MBA from BI/MBA from Stanford. Former Vice President of Eksportfinans ASA, Managing Director of Citigroup Norway and Norsk Oppgjørssentral. On the board of several private and public enterprises, such as Folketrygdfondet, E-Co Energi AS, Kebony ASA, Carnegie ASA and Anders Jahre's Fond. Member of GIEK's board since 1st August 2009.

Arve Bakke

President of the trade union Fellesforbundet since 2007. Employed at Fellesforbundet and the trade union Norsk Jern- og Metallarbeiderforbund since 1984, prior to this at shipyard Ulstein-Hatlø for ten years. Leader of Møre and Romsdal regional Labour Party for 12 years. State Secretary of the Ministry of Administration 1996-1997. Member of Topplederforum and Maritimt Forum, member of FAFO and on the board of Forum for Miljøteknologi. In addition, he is in in the cooperation committee between the Labour Party and the Norwegian Confederation of Trade Unions. Member of GIEK's board since 1st August 2009.
