  Environmental and Social Action Plan

 Mputa  Uganda Heavy fuel power plant and transmission lines. The project concerns the construction of a 57 MW power plant in addition to 132kV high-voltage lines, in order for the power to be transmitted to the main power grid. The line will be approx. 200 km long. The power plant will consist of 7 engines operated on heavy fuel, crude oil and diesel. In this plant, heavy fuel will be used to generate electricity. 7 MW will be used to operate the plant itself and approx. 50 MW will be transmitted to the high-voltage lines.
